I didn’t set out to build a solution for the world; I built one to survive my own succession.
My story began in the rugged landscapes of South Africa, where I learned the raw mechanics of resilience. But my vision for Avestix Fortuna was forged between two distinct, powerful worlds: Silicon Valley, my crucible for exponential tech, and Palm Beach, my anchor for strategic wealth.
After 35 years navigating the upper echelons of corporate finance, I found myself in a paradox. I was investing in the future—AI, Blockchain, and Robotics—yet the internal infrastructure available to women remained stuck in the past: manual, opaque, and dependent on legacy systems. I realized that while I had built my wealth on "The Grind," the next generation—my children and my granddaughter, Alina—live in a different reality. They are Digital Natives who do not prize manual labor; they prize asymmetric leverage.
